Mayor Adams Endorses Andrew Cuomo Ahead of NYC Mayoral Election

New York City Mayor Eric Adams has officially endorsed independent candidate Andrew Cuomo in the upcoming mayoral election scheduled for November 4. The endorsement was made at an event in East Harlem, where Adams and Cuomo appeared together, embracing before the announcement.

Adams, who withdrew from his re-election bid last month, emphasized the importance of supporting Cuomo to safeguard the city, calling the campaign “a fight for the family.” Cuomo expressed gratitude, highlighting Adams’ decision to set aside personal ambitions for the city’s well-being.

The two are expected to campaign together in the final days leading up to the election. Early voting for the mayoral race begins this Saturday.
