Govt transfers 6 DIGs, 3 SPs

The Ministry of Home Affairs issued two separate notifications in this regard.

According to one notification, DIG of the Special Branch (SB) Md Iqbal Hossain has been posted as DIG of the Dhaka Range.

Barishal Metropolitan Police Commissioner (DIG) Md Ashik Saeed has been appointed DIG of the Rajshahi Range, while Police Headquarters DIG Abu Raihan Muhammad Saleh has been posted as Police Commissioner (DIG) of Barishal.

Barishal Range DIG Md Mostafizur Rahman has been transferred as DIG of the Khulna Range, while Khulna Range DIG Md Rezaul Haque has been posted as DIG of the Industrial Police.

Rajshahi Range DIG Mohammad Shahjahan has been appointed DIG of the Armed Police Battalion (APBn).

In a separate notification, CID Superintendent of Police Mohammad Badrul Alam Mollah has been posted as superintendent of police of Jhalakathi.

Deputy Commissioner of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police Shahriar Mohammad Miazi has been appointed superintendent of police of Faridpur, while Faridpur SP Md Nazrul Islam has been transferred as superintendent of police of the CID.

The notifications said the transfers were made in the public interest and would take immediate effect.
