20 May, 2026, 7:53 am

Parkchester Medical is establishing a new treatment and diagnostic facility in New York under the name “Parkchester Diagnostic and Treatment Center.” The facility, currently under construction behind the existing premises, is expected to provide integrated healthcare services under one roof once it becomes operational.

Officials from the organization stated that the new center will offer a range of specialized services, including therapy and behavioral health. In addition to Bengali-speaking physicians, services will also be available in Arabic and Spanish. Transportation facilities for patients will also be provided.

The center will include departments for internal medicine, asthma and diabetes care, cardiology, physical therapy, urology, gynecology, pediatrics, gastroenterology, and orthopedics. As a result, members of the same family will be able to receive necessary medical care at a single location.

The organization also noted that it accepts most health insurance plans, including Medicaid and Medicare. Workers’ compensation services will also be available, offering treatment and necessary support for workplace injuries.

Operating for nearly 45 years, the institution has gradually expanded its services. It currently spans approximately 12,000 square feet. The new building of the Parkchester Diagnostic and Treatment Center is being constructed at 1879 Gleason Avenue in the Bronx. It will be internally connected with the existing Parkchester Medical office, allowing both buildings to function as a unified modern healthcare complex. The new facility will include multiple primary care providers and a multilingual team of physicians.

According to the organization, their goal is to ensure accessible and quality healthcare services for the community. Bengali-language services will also be available.

A representative of the organization stated that although they initially started with primary healthcare services, they have added specialized treatments over the past 20 years. With the expansion from 4,000 to 12,000 square feet, several new specialized departments are being introduced. He added that they aim to maintain patients’ trust while continuing to improve their services in the future.
