New Committee of Mirsarai Association USA Inaugurated in Grand Ceremony
The Mirsarai Association USA Inc., a community organization for expatriate Mirsarai residents, held the inauguration of its new committee on Saturday, November 8, at the Taj Mahal Party Hall in New York. The event began with a Quran recitation and performances of the Bangladesh and US national anthems.
Outgoing president Amzad Bhuiya and general secretary Milton Bhuiya delivered farewell speeches. This was followed by the handover of responsibilities and the swearing-in of the new committee members, administered by the organization’s advisor Golam Samdani. Other dignitaries present included advisor Abul Kashem Bhuiya, engineer Jahangir Alam, Kazi Azam, and several other members of the association.
Newly elected president Asifur Rahman and general secretary Ariful Hasan stated that their focus would be on fostering mutual cooperation, unity, and stronger community bonds among Mirsarai residents in the US.
The inauguration was followed by a cultural program, with performances by expatriate artists that enlivened the entire hall. The event concluded as a vibrant gathering, bringing together Mirsarai residents living abroad in a joyful celebration.
