Mintoo–Pintoo Panel Elected in Greater Noakhali Society USA
The leadership of the Greater Noakhali Society USA Inc., one of the largest social organizations for Bangladeshi expatriates in the United States, has been officially confirmed following an uncontested election. The full panel led by Zahid Mintoo and ASM Mainuddin Pintoo was declared elected without opposition.
Chief Election Commissioner Sohel Helal formally announced the results on Friday evening, with members of the election commission, candidates, and organizational leaders in attendance. Zahid Mintoo was elected president and ASM Mainuddin Pintoo general secretary for the 2026–2030 term. Taj U Mia and Enamul Haq Rumi were elected as vice presidents.
Other office-bearers include Saleh Ahmed Chowdhury Rubel as assistant general secretary, Nazrul Islam as treasurer, Jamal Uddin as assistant treasurer, Nurul Islam Babu as organizational secretary, Mahmudul Hasan (Rudra Masud) as publicity secretary, Muhammad Monzur Karim as religious and social welfare secretary, Muhammad Abdur Rahim as sports and cultural secretary, Mohammad Rezaul Haq as office secretary, and executive members Anwarul Azim, Hasanuzzaman, ASM Mainuddin, Mahmudul Haq, and Iqbal Hossain.
Following the announcement, the newly elected president and general secretary expressed gratitude and sought the continued cooperation of all members to strengthen the society’s activities and community engagement.
