Canada Invites 1,000 Candidates in Express Entry Draw with 531 CRS Score
Canada has issued 1,000 invitations to apply for permanent residence in its latest Express Entry draw, held on November 26, 2025. This round specifically targeted candidates in the Canadian Experience Class, with a minimum Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 531. The draw marks the 51st round of invitations in 2025, continuing a recent pattern of stable score requirements for this category.
The CRS score of 531 remains highly competitive, slightly lower than the previous Canadian Experience Class draw on November 12, which also issued 1,000 invitations but required a score of 533. Analysts say the consistency of CRS thresholds helps candidates better gauge their chances of receiving an invitation. The tie-breaking rule for this draw was set for October 8, 2025.
This draw represents the 13th Canadian Experience Class round of the year. Canada’s Express Entry system serves as a key pathway for managing applications for permanent residence, allowing the government to strategically meet annual immigration targets. So far in 2025, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has issued 88,476 Invitations to Apply (ITAs).
In addition to the Canadian Experience Class, Express Entry also holds draws for other categories, including the Provincial Nominee Program and skill-specific selections targeting areas such as healthcare and trades. Candidates who received an ITA in this latest draw have 60 days to submit a complete application, including all supporting documents, to secure their permanent residence in Canada.
