The Bengal Club of Atlantic City organized a winter clothing distribution drive to support homeless and low-income residents during the harsh winter season.
The humanitarian initiative took place on the afternoon of January 6, when volunteers distributed a large quantity of warm clothing across several neighborhoods of Atlantic City. The effort aimed to provide immediate relief to vulnerable individuals struggling with cold weather conditions.
Club officials said the program was driven by a commitment to compassion and social responsibility. They emphasized the importance of community involvement and encouraged financially capable and socially conscious individuals to take part in similar charitable activities.
Representatives of the Bengal Club also announced that such welfare-oriented initiatives would continue in the future, stating that they chose to begin the new year with an act of service and solidarity.
Several club members and community volunteers were present during the distribution, contributing time and effort to ensure the program’s success. The initiative received positive responses and appreciation from members of the expatriate community in the region.
Organizers said the strong turnout and public support reinforced their belief that collective humanitarian action can make a meaningful difference in the lives of those in need.
