Bangladesh Law Society USA to Host Election Debate and Candidate Introduction on Saturday
Bangladesh Law Society USA Inc. will hold its ‘Election Debate and Candidate Introduction’ event on Saturday, December 6, ahead of the organization’s 2026–27 executive committee election. The session will begin at 4 p.m., organized under the supervision of the Election Commission.
According to organizers, candidates will present their profiles, action plans, and views on key issues during the debate, offering members valuable insight to help inform voting decisions in the upcoming election. All members and registered voters of the Society are encouraged to attend.
Chief Election Commissioner Advocate Syed Moyeen Uddin Junel, along with Election Commissioners Advocate Mohammad Abul Bashar and Advocate Md. Samiul Karim Alamgir, will be present at the event.
The election for the Executive Committee of Bangladesh Law Society USA Inc. is scheduled for December 13 at Mama’s Party Center in Jackson Heights. The organization has already completed the formation of the Election Commission, published the election schedule, and released the final list of candidates.
