Hillary Clinton Would Nominate Trump for Nobel Peace Prize—If…

Former U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has expressed that she would consider nominating her political rival, President Donald Trump, for the Nobel Peace Prize—under specific conditions.

NDTV reports that Clinton made the remarks on a podcast just hours before Trump’s pre-scheduled meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Alaska.

According to Clinton, Trump would need to achieve three key outcomes to merit such a nomination: end the devastating war in Ukraine, refrain from ceding Ukrainian territory, and genuinely confront Putin’s aggression.

Clinton emphasized that Trump would not be meeting a friend but a formidable adversary intent on undermining the U.S. and its Western allies.

Her comments came in Anchorage, Alaska, ahead of the highly anticipated meeting at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. Before arriving in Alaska, Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One that he hoped the talks with Putin would be “productive,” and if not, he would return home promptly.
