US ‘did the world a favour’ launching war on Iran: Trump

The US president says on a scale of 0 to 10, the progress of his country’s campaign against Iran so far is a 15.

The war on Iran is “a service that we’re providing, not for the Middle East but for the world”, Trump said.

“These were sick people, very sick people,” he said of those killed in US-Israeli attacks so far.

Earlier, Trump suggested on Saturday the United States would hit Iran “very hard” and threatened to expand strikes to include new targets.

“Today Iran will be hit very hard!” Trump posted on his Truth Social media platform.
