Inauguration of Bangladeshi Professionals in New York
The inauguration ceremony of Bangladeshi professionals in New York was successfully held on Saturday, November 29, at Gulshan Terrace. The event commenced with a recitation from the Holy Quran and was hosted by TV personality Naushin Neharin Mau.
At the beginning of the ceremony, a promotional video highlighting the accomplished life of Sheikh Enamul Kabir, President of the Bangladeshi Professional Organization, was screened. Sheikh Enamul Kabir emphasized the importance of mutual cooperation and strengthening the community among expatriates.
Community activist Mary Zobaida and Time TV CEO Abu Taher delivered speeches following the video. Another promotional video showcased the diverse activities of Bangladeshis living abroad.
The organization’s Vice President, Syed M. Alam, spoke about creating a robust database to bring Bangladeshis from all 50 U.S. states under a single umbrella and encouraged attendees to visit BangladeshiProfessional.com.
Other notable speakers included Hasan Mahmud, editor of Bangladeshi Professional Magazine; Ataur Rahman Selim, President of the Bangladesh Society; Mohammad Ali, General Secretary; Dr. Wazed A. Khan, editor of Saptahik Bangladesh; Tipu Sultan, officer of the New York Taxi Alliance; engineer Fazlul Haq; and Shamsul Haq, Chairman of the New York City School Bus Management Board.
The event concluded with a captivating cultural program, where artists delivered mesmerizing musical performances, bringing the entire auditorium to life.
