Bangladesh Law Society USA Inc Forms Election Commission for 2026-2027 Executive Committee

The Bangladesh Law Society USA Inc has formed a three-member Election Commission to oversee the elections for its 2026-2027 Executive Committee.

At the Executive Committee meeting held on September 28, former General Secretary Advocate Syed Moin Uddin Juneel was unanimously appointed as the Chief Election Commissioner. Lifetime member Advocate Md. Abul Bashar and Advocate Md. Samiul Karim Alamgir will serve as Election Commissioners.

The formation of the commission was officially announced by the society’s President Advocate M Matiur Rahman and Acting General Secretary Advocate Sonia Sultana.

According to a press release from Advocate Joyjit Acharya, the society’s Publicity Secretary, the Election Commission will conduct the 2026-2027 Executive Committee elections fairly, transparently, and in accordance with the society’s constitution.
