A US military helicopter crashed during a routine training flight in Washington state, resulting in the deaths of four soldiers.

According to the US Army, the helicopter was an MH-60 Black Hawk, carrying members of the Special Operations unit. All four personnel on board were part of the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment, also known as the “Night Stalkers.”

Rescue operations began immediately after the crash, but efforts were delayed as the helicopter caught fire.
